Benazir* is only three and a half years old but filled with dreams as big as the sky. Her parents, who migrated from Uttar Pradesh, worked hard to make ends meet. Her father sold vegetables while her mother stitched clothes at home.
One afternoon, Vision Rescue’s CCC met Benazir and her parents in their slum community. They were introduced to the free education program at Vision Rescue’s BLC. Benazir’s father couldn’t believe his ears when he heard ‘free education’ and without a second thought, he agreed to enrol Benazir in our BLC.
In 2022, Benazir joined our BLC. Her teachers were amazed by her enthusiasm to learn and her passion for dancing. They said, “She is always ready to help her friends and eager to explore.” Her journey at BLC inspired her mother to become a ‘Community Champion’ for Vision Rescue. Now, she convinces other mothers and children about the power of education.
