Meet Vivek – Our Cricket All-rounder!

As a little boy, Vivek always dreamt of playing for Team India.

Vivek grew up watching cricket on television and over the years his love for cricket grew even more. He had a desire to join a cricket academy but his parents couldn’t afford the fees.

Vivek thought his dreams wouldn’t come true but one day, Vivek heard from his friend that Vision Rescue provides cricket coaching absolutely free of cost.

Vivek was thrilled to know about our cricket coaching. He has been with us for 5 years now. Vivek is an all-rounder: a right-hand batsman and pace bowler.

With Vision Rescue, Vivek has participated in matches such as Mumbai Cricket Association U-16 Summer Camp. He also had an opportunity to bowl to U-19 Team India players during practice matches.

The most memorable day in Vivek’s life was when he met Kevin Pietersen – former England International cricket player. Vivek had an opportunity to learn few batting and bowling tips from him.

We also helped him secure admission in Anjuman School so he got to represent his school in cricket. Vivek recently appeared for his grade 12th exams.

Just a few days back, Vivek scored a century against Azad Maidan Cricket Coaching Club. We are so proud to see Vivek’s love, passion and growth in cricket.
