Rubina*, the youngest of three children, is currently enrolled in BLC and aspires to become a doctor when she grows up. Her family faced challenges that seemed insurmountable. Her mother had tuberculosis (TB), while her father, despite being disabled by polio, worked tirelessly as a liftman to provide for them. With the help and guidance from our CCC, Rubina’s mother underwent treatment at a government hospital and was successfully cured. After her recovery, she seized the opportunity to enrol in our vocational tailoring course and completed it successfully.
“Vision Rescue gave us hope when we had none. Now, my family smiles every day. Thank you!” says, Rubina’s mother. Today, she has joined us as a community champion, advocating for education, nutrition and healthcare in her community.
