Ayaan*, a 7-year-old in Grade I, is the third child from his family to attend BLC. His older brother was the first to benefit from Vision Rescue’s Bus Program, which left a powerful impact on their parents because of the care and support they received. Despite challenges, all three children were enrolled in BLC. However, things took a turn for the worse when their father was diagnosed with bone tuberculosis and could not work for nearly two years. Thanks to you, dear donors, our Vision Rescue’s medical team was able to support his father with the essential blood supply.
Ayaan’s mother became the sole breadwinner, working as a housemaid and earning a modest income. Even through hardships, they continue to persevere and give back to their community. Her way of saying thank you is to volunteer as our ‘Community Champion’ at every medical, dental or awareness camp we conduct in their slum community. Ayaan’s mother expressed deep gratitude for the care her family received from Vision Rescue. Thank you, dear donors, for reaching out with love to Ayaan and his family!
