Our Healthcare team organised a Immunisation camp for the children and Antenatal Care to the women in one of the slum communities that Vision Rescue works in – Kalwa.
We organised this immunisation camp in collaboration with government health centres as the children living in these slum communities have no easy access to healthcare and are living in the slum communities with unhygienic surroundings and poor sanitation. These children are hence exposed to various diseases which can even be fatal.
The ANC Camps helps us spread awareness about the mother and child’s needs and growth.
We gave vaccines such as BCG, DPT, PENTA 1 2 3, Measles 1 and TT first and second dose. Over 15 children and 06 pregnant women were a part of this camp.
We are grateful to all the staffs from Kalwa Atkoneswar Primary Health Centre for putting in their efforts to reach out with Love.
We thank you for leading the community towards a healthy life so that their children engage and sustain in education.
