60% of the families in India have only one earning member.
Our Community Case Officers and Champions found that families of our children have been struggling financially as the sole earning member of the family couldn’t get enough to provide basic needs of the family.
Today, we have helped 213 women from Shivaji Nagar, Mandala, MaharashtraNagar and Kalwa with work opportunities such as –
Toran making , Zari making, Latakan, Diamond work, Tailoring work, Making malas, bangles and bracelet.
Earning approx. Rs. 80 to Rs.170 each day has helped them pay their bills and also save for their children’s education.
