Open Basic Education
Congratulations to the 17 children from our Open Basic Education (OBE) Programme who have successfully cleared their exams!
Open Basic Education (OBE) Programme was launched by National Institute of Open Schooling, as an alternative educational programme, equivalent to the Elementary Education Programme of the formal education system.
To engage and sustain children in education, Vision Rescue runs the OBE Programme for children aged 8-14, who have dropped out of formal education or never been to school.
This Programme helps the children to catch up on the years lost due to lack of schooling.
We prepare these children for the annual OBE exam, through the academic year post clearing which they are admitted into a formal schooling system.
And, we are so proud to see these children clear their OBE exams! We look forward in enrolling them in formal schools this new academic year 2022-23.
