Being one of our older students on the bus, from day one Rahima took pride in caring for the other children.
She would always be the first to volunteer to serve.
Everyday when this young girl meets us, she asks us to place her in a school. Sadly due to her parents’ carelessness and lack of involvement in her life they misplaced her documents ( Birth certificate and proof of id).
This meant she was unable to attend school.
Watching crime dramas on television, she longed to work with the CID ( Crime Investigation Department). Her passions are always expanding, one day it’s to be a teacher and the next day an investigator but what stayed constant was her persistent desire to sit in a classroom and learn.
We hope that with time, we will make this dream a reality.
In spite of her desperate situation, Rahima gives us all hope with the endless love, care and energy that she exudes.
