“I want to be big and strong like a policeman!” says 5-year-old Furqan, a Senior KG student. He lives with his parents and four siblings. The walls are peeling and the floors are cold and hard. Their meals are simple—just tea and a biscuit in the morning, with rice or roti and sabzi twice a day. His illiterate parents couldn’t afford school, but when our CCC met Furqan’s family, they were overjoyed to hear about free education. Soon, he was enrolled in Nursery in 2022.
At BLC, Furqan’s teacher guides him patiently every day, helping him with letters, numbers, and even hygiene. His mother is grateful for these small changes. Vision Rescue’s regular health check-ups and nutritious meals have made him stronger, and the family, who once managed only two meals a day, now shares a third meal together.
Now, his younger sibling also joined BLC, following in his footsteps. “Watching them laugh together fills me with joy,” says Furqan’s mother. She’s grateful for Vision Rescue’s support, helping her children access education and healthcare. Thank you, dear donors, for your continued generosity and support.
